One of Gillette''s marketing approach to offer several styles of the same razor, the Gillette Super Speed. This razor was first introduced in 1951 with a aluminum handle to reduce production costs. The razor has a black plastic TTO end.  A washer was added between the plastic end and the metal handle in the 2nd quarter of 1952. This 3" razor, with a production code of X-2, has the diamond etched handle design for a firm grip and the TTO end is black. In very good, used condition.Additional view. Item BS0050
