Gillette Milord Safety Razor

Gillette Milord Safety Razor ** SOLD **

The Gillette Milord Safety Razor was first introduced in 1940 and was sold in all markets in the US in 1941. The Milord was the first safety razor produced by Gillette with the 'solid bar guard'. Production was cut short by WW II, when Gillette shifted to producing razors for US GI's.

The razor has no production code and does not have the 'notched positioning bar'. Impressed on the smooth ban are the words 'PANT. NOS. ON PACKAGE'. Includes an unopened 5-pack of Gillette Blue Blades.

Some of the gold-plate has been removed during cleaning and has very minor surface scratches on the cap. Open & closes smoothly and in very-clean condition. Item BS0522
