Introduced during the holiday season of 1941, right after the Milord, was the Gillette Ranger Tech with the solid bar guard. The Ranger Tech was made only for a short period prior to Gillette turning full production to the war effort and supplying razors to US Servicemen.

This safety razor has the two distinguished rings around the end of the handle with a smooth band directly above,and the 'missing' notches to pull the blade from the blade dispenser. There is no production code. No information available on the Ranger Tech being made with a gold plate, but because of the other characteristics of this razor, it is listed as a Ranger Tech.
